 ALL OF THE FOLLOWING CALLS REQUIRE VALID ALBERTA CSTS, GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO I.D. AND TRADE TRAINING CERTIFICATES OR EQUIVALENT.


ULTIMATELY IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE MEMBER TAKING THE CALL TO READ AND FOLLOW THE WORK ORDER CONDITIONS FOR THE JOB HE / SHE IS BIDDING ON.


 Everyone who wants to receive blast emails from us, please contact the hall and provide us with the email address that you would like them sent to. Anyone who hasn’t received one in sometime should also contact the hall to ensure that we have the correct email address on file.  


Local 118 is experiencing a manpower shortage in the Vancouver Commercial / Institutional marketplace.  There are numerous long term opportunities in the Vancouver area for members 3rd year Apprentice and Journeymen, with a commercial skill set.  Employers are guaranteeing one (1) year of work for qualified individuals.  Please have interested members contact Local 118 so that we can place them and arrange Travel Cards / Letters.  Wage for Journeymen is $32.01/hour plus 10% holiday pay and Benefits.

 Canadian and United States Travelers:


Any Canadian or United States Travelers that are interested in one of these positions should call the Local 110 union office staff between the hours of 9:30a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Alberta time.
At 10:30am that same day, dispatch staff will start dispatching travelers. Any traveler who does not receive a confirmation call the same day they called in can assume that they did not get the job.
