General Instructions
When a call cannot be filled by Local 110 members for any reason, Local 110 notifies all other Canadian Locals. As a member in good standing of any other IAHFIAW Local, you may obtain a travel card from your home Local if you qualify for an open call with Local 110. If you do not have current, valid CSTS training for the province of Alberta, you need to arrange an appointment at Local 110 before being dispatched. Speak to your Business Agent or Business Manager if you are interested in working in Alberta.
American Travelers
Your home local will be notified of any openings for American travelers. At this time, there are no work permits available for non-Canadian Insulators.
Remember that most calls through Local 110 now require pre-access Alcohol and Drug Testing. Details on setting up these tests are provided when you are being dispatched by Local 110.
